Actually, I’m pretty sure all it takes is a little spark to cause a fire. Duh.

This is crazy! I just cannot believe that riding The Big Red skate board in high school could bring you to strapping rockets on a luge and riding down a highway. You always were a little more adventurous than the rest of us.

Great idea….EXCEPT!!!! ……Does anyone realise that they are firing rockets in the middle of dry, flammable grass and brush? Duh!

Jesus! This guy will never be able to ride a regular luge again…will be too boring! I cannot believe he stayed with that thing(any straps???)with what must have been some G’s on THAT run. WOW!!!!! Was he wearing an adult diaper(just in case!)?

Oh ok,then that’s good!!!! Keep pushing the envelope. That video is awesome. I am familiar with the Aerotech reloadable motors. Im sure you’re aware of this, but reloadable rocket motors are made that are bigger than G impulse. It would be cool if you strapped a couple k impulse motors on your sled. You could really get crazy with the speed, but may have control issues.

Actually the World Record for Rocketluge has never left the U.S.
What Joel, Roland, and Bob are all doing falls into a whole different power supply category. Yes, they are all luges, but that’s where the similarity ends. Joel and Bob are both using jet engines and the speed record between them is always changing hands. Where as Roland is riding one heck of a beast with his harley power plant, pushing him well over the 100+ mark.
They are all great guys, and doing an amazing job!

Hey, you need to go back and beat that little bastard, Joel King and bring the world record back where it belongs, THE USA!!!!
