aww this is soo romantic! soft at first and then harsh in the middle as if fighting for love or revenge for a loved one. then the mourning .

The best piece of music I have ever heard in my life, as two posters below me said, this track has the perfect mix of hypnotising, you can imagine new life… Then when 1:16 comes, you can picture humans fully grown going into war, but still having a background of their feelings from childhood…

I mean, when you stop and think about it, before his involvement trying to get his debt from Sparrow, Jones was more or less minding his own business and seeing to things as he always had since he got corrupted. The connection between Jones and Calypso was truly deep. A love that lasted for countless centuries, only to end in death and betrayal… It makes one want to cry, really.

This is by far one of the most hypnotizing musical scores I’ve ever heard. It perfectly nails that feeling of loneliness and pain, and the anger and vengeful feelings that come with it. I truly felt for Davy Jones in the third movie, I really did. The only reason he became a “villain” at all was because of Jack Sparrow. He was only trying to settle his business in regards to Jack’s debt, but because Jack is one of the “good” guys, it automatically made Jones the evil one. It sucks really…

davy jones is such an inoccent man and a cool guy, who just got angry just because of calypso, but in the movie it just shows him as another villian but he isn’t just that…

life is cruel. why should the afterlife be any different-a?!
luv that. i like how davy jones adds “a” to end of everything he says.

wow this is really emotional. i agree with jasper0lover0forever. it does kinda say heartbreak and anger.
PS: when 1:15 came around, it scared the klondike bar out of me
