Top picks for family adventure vacation in southwest U.S?

I (age 47) have 10 days in desert south west U.S. together with my 3 teenagers (19, 17, 15) and my wife driving a minivan. We plan to fly in/out of Phoenix (low fares). We like history, natural wonders, camping, hiking, canoing, etc. Don’t want to spend a lot of money. What are your topic choices (and why)?
Thanks

Tombstone is very historic. And you can also go to where they use to film “The High Chapperel!” (Not sure if I spelled the right) Other than that, beats me. Whenever I’m in Phoenix, I go to a hotel with a pool. DREADFULLY HOT!!
Try going to the city website. They will send you FREE tourist guidebook of all the attractions in and around the area.
Have a great trip!!

I think you can consider Big Bend National Park in Texas. It’s near the south-western border of Texas and seems to have a lot of stuff to do. It’s near the Rio Grande river close to Mexico border and has great historical significance too. Check the websites below for more detailed information.
Have a fun and safe trip.
