When you are on vacation, do you want to have complete Relaxation or Adventure?

I am partial to adventure…their is nothing better to me than coming back from a vacation with a broken bone…a battlewound from a time well spent. I am planning a trip in the next couple of months and can’t decide to do the the relaxation or the adventure?

If you could also throw a cool spot in the western hemisphere that is not too exspensive or well known I would appreciate it!!
btw, I am Jamaican, so that is off the list!!

I prefer adventure. I like mountain climbing or ice climbing.

A combination of both.

I like to relax, take it easy, maybe get a massage.
It’s time to not be overscheduled and inundated with information and stress.

Yes (both).
There is a place in the Western Hemisphere that’s good for both (though not at the same time). I’ll give you a hint… it’s in Central America, and they drive on the right-hand side of the road.
[I'm not going to tell everyone; it's already getting too overrun and touristy and all as it is.

I like to go places where I can wonder around the area and just explore (it doesn’t have to be shopping since I am not partial to that). My husband and I walked the Charleston, SC garden path tour. This is an area where you walk from garden to garden and only come onto a street to cross it. They also have ghost tours. Close by is the home of the Swamp Fox (from Revolutionary History) Col. Francis Marion lived near there and this is an excellent place to explore. We go to D.C. periodically. We get dropped off and walk all over the place (this is cheap because all the museums are free). Lots of fun.

Complete relaxation….but some fun too…nothing where I’m coming back with battle wounds or broken bones though…I’m extreme but not that extreme

I am all about relaxation…if there’s a beach involved! But, since you are Jamaican that is just the norm for you….lucky! I can’t tell you where to go for adventure, but don’t come to Indiana!!

I like relaxation but if I have the chance to rockclimb
or bike ride, I am SO there. The most fun I’ve had on
vacation is being in the Las Vegas, Nevada
area….in the desert, the beach, the mountains,
Lake Mead and seeing the Hoover Dam.
We drove to Arizona (nice short desert drive!)
and it was the most beautiful
ride! Lots of cool stop offs and when you get back to
your hotel on the strip, there’s every known form of
entertainment under the sun waiting for you!!!

I would like an even balance of both relaxation and adventure.
